This unusual 9ct yellow and rose Gold medal was awarded as a prize for completing a walk from Morriston to Llandeilo, and was awarded by the famous publisher and philanthropist Sir George Newnes. The full British hallmark date the piece to 1903. The pendant is supplied with an 18" 9ct yellow Gold fine curb chain. The shield approximately measures 45mm x 27mm.
