9ct Yellow Gold RAOB 1930 Masonic Order of Merit Necklace

£1,395.00

A striking and historically significant piece, this vintage 1930s 9ct yellow gold Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) Masonic medal is a superb collector's item. Crafted with exceptional attention to detail, the medal is set with two vivid ruby eyes, adding a subtle yet regal touch to its distinguished design.

Measuring 5cm in height and 3.6cm in width, the front of the medal is finely engraved with the inscriptions ‘Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes’ and the Latin motto ‘NEMO MORALIUM OMNIBUS HORIS SAPIT’, which translates to “No man is wise at all times.” There is an additional engraving to the reverse pendant, adding further character and historical value.

The medal is presented on a classic 9ct yellow gold 20-inch box chain, secured with a traditional spring ring clasp. Please note, some of the original blue enamel detailing on the face has worn with age, which is consistent with its vintage charm.

Weighing approximately 31.5 grams, this remarkable Masonic medal is not only a unique adornment but also a meaningful symbol of fraternal tradition.

Beautifully presented in a luxurious gift box, making it an ideal gift for a collector or an excellent addition to any vintage jewellery collection.
