15ct Vintage Turquoise Mourning Necklace

This beautiful Victorian mourning necklace began its life as a brooch, but the original pin has been carefully removed and the piece has been polished and converted for wear as a pendant. The front displays an elegant oval cluster of turquoise stones, set within a fine filigree surround that reflects the delicate craftsmanship of the era.

On the reverse, the original glass memorial panel remains intact. In Victorian times, this would have held a small keepsake—often a lock of hair—from a loved one who had passed away, giving the piece a poignant historical significance.

The pendant measures approximately 38mm long, 31mm wide, and 17mm deep, creating a substantial and eye-catching presence. It is suspended from a brand-new 20-inch 14ct gold belcher chain, making it ready to wear and enjoy immediately.
